Born Grenoble, France. Lives and works Geneva since 1980.
A self-taught artist, Gene Mann has exhibited extensively in Switzerland, Japan and the USA. She was represented by the renowned Galerie Krugier & Cie, Geneva until it closed, and she undertook two residencies in Barcelona, Spain in 2013 and 2015 for the gallery.
Mann is represented by Andrew Edlin Gallery in New York.
